Can't open calendar, events address contacts or notes by doubleclicking

Thanks Diane--I still can't open the items by double clicking, but I can do
it by hitting the return key and of course open contact or open event, etc.
so I can live with it. Thanks very much for your help--I really appreciate
it. Jim
