cant open e-mail

my company's e-mail is set up thru microsoft. when i try
to access it at my home computer, which is xp version,
the two part password box does not allow access. if i
open it on any other system, windows 98 or 2000 it gives
a 3 part password (domain,username and password)and i am
able to gain access. i've tried to many different ways on
xp with fail. any idea's?
