I have an Outlook 2000 user who cannot open email messages
if they have a contact attached to them.
For example if I compose a message and drag one of my
contacts onto it (so it now has the contact as an
attachment), and send this to the person in question, when
they try to open it they get the message "Can't open this
item. The object could not be found.".
Also if we attempt to drag one of his own contacts to a
message he's composing, we get the message "Cannot create
attachments. The object could not be found.".
Seems to be some issue with "contact" objects.
I have un-installed and re-installed Outlook, but it did
not fix.
Any suggestions welcomed.
