Can't open forms

Have a new laptop with Office 2003 installed. I'm trying
to use Access files that have already been created. When
I attempt to open any form (in design or preview mode) by
double clicking the form name in the database window,
nothing happens. I do not get an error message. It's
like the double click action was ignored.

I am able to open these forms on my old laptop and other
machines in the office running both Office 2003 and
Office XP.
