can't open item linked to journal entry

If I move an email from the inbox to another folder, the link from within the
journal entry is broken and the following message is returned when attempting
to open the email from the link within the journal item: The item can no
longer be found. It may have been deleted or moved."

Journal entries should have a useful life longer than the time it takes to
clear out my inbox, don't you agree?
