Can't open migrated mailbox

hi,
i am testing migrating users and mailboxes from another forest/organization
and when I try opening a mailbox of one of the test users, I receive an
error. The error is "unable to open the default folders". There's an option
for more information but this more information references trying to open
outlook in cached mode from within terminal serverices which is not the case.
If I open the mailbox without cached mode than it works fine. Any ideas why
cachec mode doesn't work after a migration?

Hard to say without knowing which may of migrating the mailbox you are
using.
Resetting the cache by renaming the ost-file to .old will probably solve
your issue.

Sorry for the late reply on this.

The machine that I am logging into with the migrated account has not been
logged into with any other cached mode outlook profile. So this migrated
account will be the first one. So there is no .ost to rename. Also this user
is an admin of the computer. Any other ideas?
