Can't Open more than 1 doc

Hi,

I'm running Office Word 2003 (11.5604.5606) on WinXP Pro V2002, Service Pack
1.
Some how I must have changed a setting because whenever I attempt to open a
2nd Word Doc, the first would close before the 2nd opens.

Is there a setting I need to change to get multiple document support back?

Hi Paul,

Are you sure the first document is actually closing? Look on the
Window menu -- are both documents listed, or just the second?

If they're both there, go to Tools > Options and put a checkmark on
"Windows in Taskbar". That gives you separate windows for the
documents, and a button on the task bar for each. If it's not checked,
there's only one window and one button. You can make the individual
documents visible simultaneously by clicking Window > Arrange All.
