can't open mpp file (Project 2000).

hi all
i worked days for planning a job and my coomputer cracked couple of days ago
now i cant open the mpp file
i have tried all suggestions i found here but don't work.
some other ideeas?

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

Yes - use your backup (you do have one don't you?) Failing that then your
options are very limited.. Do you have access to another PC to try there?
If you zip the file and sent it to me I'll have a go on my machine.
Otherwise - bad luck - you'll have to start again
