I can't open my Office software on my new Mac after loading the software
bundle from tiger containing Office test drive 2004 for mac. My mac is brand
new and I am running Leopard.

I get the following error message:
Microsoft Office 2004 cannot start becasue Microsoft Office is already in
use. An office program is being used by My name here. Your installation
exceeds the number of installations permitted by the license agereement.
and I am referred to this webpage:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/produc...how_to_articles/office2004/pid_infraction.xml

I deleted the test drive version and emptied the trash. What else can I do?

I wish I could help but if you don't get your answer here I can suggest
that you repost this in a Mac group, you might find an answer there.

See if anyone in microsoft.public.mac.office can help.
