Can't open Outlook 2007 Beta

After numerous problems w/this software, I now cannot open Outlook. I have
tried a number of things including repairing the software from >Start>Control
Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Repair.

I get an error message that says: "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook.
Cannot opent the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. An
unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was unable to load the information
service MSCON.DLL. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured.

Do you have any Exchange server related software on the computer?
Maybe removing Office 2007, rebooting and reinstalling will do the
trick?
Sorry, I have never seen this error before so I am just guessing.

You are using a Hotmail account?
Did you install the update for the connector as well? You'll find a link in
the Known Issues list.

I gave up. I uninstalled OL 2007. Then, I called Microsoft Office support
because I kept getting error messages on installing Office 2003. They sent
me to the "support.microsoft.com" website and had me enter 295823 in the
"Search Support KB" box. That brought up the "patch cannot be opened" error.
Clicking on that brought up a fix dated 7/27/06 by clicking on "msicuu2.exe".
I am back to the old system and am happy.

Hi, I am having the same trouble as you ,ever since my computer crashed and I
had to reload all programs. Did you ever find a solution? You can email me at
