Can't open Outlook

K

KDLady

For some reason, my new computer seems to keep Outlook running in the
background even though I can't see it. When I try to open Outlook through my
desktop shortcut or by opening up the program through the start button it
does nothing because it registers as already running. I have to go to the
bottom task bar, right click, click on "task manager" and end the
"OUTLOOK.EXE" process before I can open it. Has anyone else had this problem
or know how to resolve it?

Obviously you stranded on a distant shore ;-)
This group is for *OneNote* and not for *Outlook*.

Although some in here work with Outlook too, you'd be far better off in
am Outlook group.
Try msnews.microsoft.public.outlook.general

Good luck
