I have two users who are unable to open PowerPoint attachments in eMails. XP
Pro SP3, Outlook Express, Office 2003 Pro SP2 w/o Power Point, but the PP
2007 viewer is installed. Additionally, they have the Office 2007 Converter
SP1 installed. When they click on a PP attachment, they get the error
message "No program associated with .pps ..." etc. All other types of
attachments open with no problem - there is no security setting to prevent
opening attachments. If the users save the attachment they can double-click
it and it opens with no problem. I do not experience this problem on my
virtually identically configured system - the only difference being I have
the full version of PowerPoint 2003 installed.
