I'm attempting to open an old power point file. When I double click on the
file, I get the message "The path or file name for A:\STUB.PPT is Invalid.
Please check that the path and file name are correct". The file path and
name are OK. When I attempt to open the file from within Power Point, I get
the message "You are attempting to open a file type that is blocked by your
registry policy setting". I'm using Power point R 2003(11.8227.8202) SP3.
I'm running XP Professional SP3. I get identical results when trying to open
a copy of the file from my hard drive. The file was probably created using a
version of Power Point prior to R 2003. The file is no longer available, so
I can't get a new copy. Any suggestions?
Thanks
