Can't open saved mails.

I’m working on a network. I'm using Windows XP pro with Office professional
2003. Could anyone please help me with the following problem . . . . .?
When I move a mail that I receive in Office Outlook to my desktop, on trying
to open it I receive the following error message "The operation failed. An
object could not be found". To solve this I have tried creating a new
exchange profile to no success. This could be a network problem or software
problem. Any ideas?
