Can't open this item. Array index out of bounds

When trying to open a task reply in Outlook 2003, I get the following
errors:
"Can't open this item. Array index out of bounds."

In the reading pane, there's also the following message:
"This message with restricted permisison cannot be viewed in the reading
pane until you verify your credentials".
I went to http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;836558 and
followed all of the steps but I still have the same problem. I also can not
delete the items.

Please help.
