can't open url in word or outlook. restricted access

running office XP, URL links in doc , excell and outlook return message
restricted access see your administrator. Something got changed, but I don't
no where.
Iexplorer works fine on its own. checked folder options. ran repair on
office. Looked at security setings. any hints would be helpful.

you stated that you looked at security settings, was that on your own
desktop? or ws that through your user on a server? sometimes what is on the
server is completely different than what the desktop will show you.

try and double check the server, and you might find something there.
sometimes its the littlest rules for the user on the server that gets
overlooked.
