cant open word 07 documents with word 03

Hello everyone,

my name is mauricio, I´m trying to open some documents created on word 07, my old laptop has office 03, but it cant open them, the only thing I get is a window showing some decoding stuff.

if someone could tell me how to solve this issue please.

You can download a converter program from Microsoft. If you Google Microsoft Word 2003 to Word 2007 Converter, you can get the link to it. I would have posted it directly, though my job blocks Microsoft for some reason.
