Cant open word anymore

Hi,
When I open word, first I see a blank page and after about 1 second word
quits, then I see a message box that tells the program quits unexpected and
this has no influence to other programs.
If I double click on a doc-file, first word opens, I see the document
during about 1 second, and then Word quits.
Does anybody knows what's wrong?
( When I insert the cd-rom to re-install word, I get a message that I don't
need to install because all files are on the hard disk.
I use OS X...

Hi Karel,

It sounds like you may have a problem with font duplication or corruption.
It's a common cause for Word quitting on start. At the following link, you
will find a procedure for verifying fonts. It's the section near the end
called "Last but not least." If that doesn't do it, run through the rest of
the troubleshooting suggestions at the site:
