The secretary at our church is used to opening up her document folder
and clicking on the files to open them. After performing a backup the
other day, she is no longer able to do this with her Word documents.
Now she just gets an hour glass and Windows Explorer appears to hang.
You can hit the close 'x' a couple of times and finally you will get
back to the desktop. When she opens Word first and then opens the
files through Word, they open fine. I believe she is using Word 2002
on Windows XP.
Any suggestions on getting these documents to open through WE again?
