Can't Open Word Docs from Explorer

I can't open any Word docs within Windows Explorer. Can
open within Word. Also, can't open the file from Email
program. Any thoughts?

Try reregistering Word in Windows by using File, Run and typing in

winword /r

and press OK. Nothing will appear to happen but Word should register again.
