I dl'ed Word Viewer, then double clicked on it. It
says: "this will install Word Viewer blah blah blah", I
clicked "yes", then the same message appears. The message
that appears when I try to open Word.

How can I open the stuff I saved from word in wordpad or
notepad?

I went in "program file" then there should be a folder
called "office" right? It's not there.

Are you trying to find WordPad/Notepad or your saved documents? If you
haven't changed the folder, the latter are in My Documents.

Just open WordPad (from Start, All Programs, Accessories); select File, Open
and navigate to your My Documents folder and select the Word Document.
