Can't Paste copied image from IE6

I've checked all over google and have yet to find a definitive answer
to why you can't paste a highlighted image from IE into a word
document, when in the past i've been able to paste highlighted images
into a word document without a problem...

if i'm doing alot of copying and pasting it's really a waist of time
to have to save the image to disk... this is what computers are for..
automate simple tasks.


Any ideas..

I have picture placeholders unselected, and drawings selected. In
tools options.

Well i think it's because the web page is burried to deep in the web
site.. and when Word goes out to the internet to grab it... it can't
find the image. If i copy an image on a simple website where it's top
level it can copy the image, and paste it no problem.
