Can't position files in paragraph

I have a 2-3 attached files in a paragraph. I can't seem to get the file
icons to line up properly..on the horizontal. If I try to move one file icon
next to another one the 1st one bounces around to the next line. How can I
get these icons to behave?

Just create a table and place the icons in the cells thereof.

Thanks. I eventually figured out a table was the way to go. Thanks
