can't print addresses on envelopes

I'm trying to discover whether it is Microsoft or Hewlett Packard causing the
problem.

I can't reliably print envelopes from within Word 2007 (and Word 2000) using
my HP D4xxx series printers (I have a D4260 and a D4360). Upon printing it
will either print one or two envelope's addressess and then quit like it
forgot how. Wierd, I don't know how else to describe it.

Most of the time though these printers refuse to print envelope addresses at
all. I called HP tech and they were of no help whatsoever.

I searched the indexes here at Microsoft but don't see any similar problems
and thus no solutions. Does anybody know what gives here?

Well I have a similar issue with my HP Laserjet 4MPlus printer.
Are you using windows 7?
Since I have aquired my new pc I installed Office 2010 Beta. When I try and
print envelope and doc all ok. BUT if i try and just print the envelope or
select a page, (or current page) or a selection of text nothing prints!

I was having the same issues on both a OKIc3400 and a Lexmark 260dn. Almost threw them both out the window. After reading your post, I tried printing all the envelopes rather than "current document". Worked no problem. Must be a bug in 2010.
