Can't print documents

Recently installed Office 2003 (with all sevice packs) on new (2007) computer
running Vista. The printer is a HP deskjet 3600 series. Any document that
opens up in word will not print. It acts and sounds like it is printing, but
it is blank when done -sometimes it will print any pictures (graphics or
colored print), but no document. It is not the driver, because it does this
also on another printer I have (Epson Stylus 600), which also prints the same
from word. I can email my wife these attachments that she opens with office
and prints with her HP deskjet 3600 series, with no problem. She is running
XP, so I must believe it is a compatibility issue btween Vista and Office
2003, but as of yet have found no fix! Any suggestions? Thanks!!

There are no compatibility issues between Office2003 & Vista
You will have problems if your new PC came with a trial version of Office
which you failed to uninstall first
Check what is shown in Word>help>about
