Can't print Publisher 2000 documents

My problem is that I can't print documents created
in "publisher 2000". My printer is a Canon BJC 4200 that
works fine on other 'Office' programs including 'word'.

Any Ideas?
Tried copying publisher text and pasting to word ....
worked fine in "word"
