Can't print selection

When I block just a portion of a table (even just one row) and try to print that section only (not the entire page) the selection portion on the print screen is greyed out and cannot be selected. What am I doing wrong? THANKS!

Andre, that's just exactly what tgee says he can't do.

Hi

Words a bit touchy about what parts of a table it'll let you print. It'll let
you print ENTIRE rows as long as the end-of-row mark is included, but NOT if
it's not. Likewise Word wont let you print a range of one or more cells
(unless as above it's an entire row) and it wont let you select just columns
either.

Highlight the selection of Text you want to Print, click "File" "Print", on
the Print Dialogue, in the page range area select the "selection" radio
button.
