can't print to 11x17; publisher resizes to 8.5x11

To summarize, using Pub2003, windxp sp2, epson 1280, with ALL settings set
to print at 11x17 (inc. the driver default setting), when the status monitor
appears and the document begins printing, the status monitor says 8.5x11, and
the document size is reduced to 8.5x11.

I have the exact same problem, which AFAIK has never been resolved. I am
sure it is NOT a printer driver issue, because I can print an 11x17 document
created in Pub2002 with no problem, using the same printer. I have
re-installed the driver & Pub2003 many times. I have duplicated the problem
using three different computers. The only workaround I have found is to
convert the Pub file into a pdf file; then it prints to 11x17, but with
noticeable loss in quality.

Does anybody know if this issue has ever been acknowledged by MS and if so
if there is any fix for it (cannot find it on knowledgebase). TIA for any
help!

When you re-installed the printer driver, did you completely remove the driver
first?

Yes, removed all printer software & driver; the problem was duplicated even
using a new computer with a fresh install of the printer software & driver.

Well, I've discovered a remedy: I re-installed Pub 2002 so now I have both
2002 & 2003 on my computers...if I want to print an 11x17 document then I use
Pub 2002 and it works just fine.

Re-save the publication in 2002 and open it again in 2003, does it print okay
now? It is strange you can't print correctly in 2003.
