can't print to my new hp psc 2175 all-in-one

I just purchased an HP PSC 2175 all-in-one, and installed
in on my pc, which runs under windows XP. I had an HP
Deskjet 340 connected before. With the deskjet 340, I
was able to print email from outlook express, but when I
deleted the deskjet 340, and installed the new HP, I was
no longer able to print my email. The icon remains
shaded, even though the PSC 2175 is installed as the
default printer. When I re-installed the deskjet 340,
the print icon remained shaded in outlook express. I can
print from any other application and the internet, but
not from outlook.
Any ideas?
