Can't process rules in Outlook XP

Hello there. One Outlook XP client in my company network
is having problems every time he tries to run rules
manually. The reason why he is trying to run the rules
manually is because they are not working.We have a 200
Exchange server in my company. This particular person has
about 15 rules setup. Some of which have the "stop
processing more rules" in the rule itself. This is the
error message he gets.

"One or More rules could not be uploaded to exchange
server and have been deactivated. This could be because
some of the paramaters are not supported or there is
insufficient space to store all of your rules"

Any and all advice is appreciated.

You could be running into a limit or you could also have some corrupt rules.

Microsoft Exchange has a 32K limit for the rules. The maximum
number of rules depends on the size of the rules defined and the amount of
data
required for a rule varies depending on the rule. For example, a rule to
move
messages into a folder, for a single recipient, takes about 660 bytes.
Hence there
is no defined limit for the maximum number of rules that can be assigned to
a
folder. This issue is documented in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base

Since some corrupted rules may also cause this problem, I suggest
that you remove the old rules and re-set up them manually to see if the
problem
still appears. If you can't remove a rule from within Outlook then you
could use the Mdvu32 utility as documented in the article below.
