Can't publish using Frontpage or Sharepoint Services

I have Frontpage 2003 SP2 and the server I have my website on does have
Frontpage extensions installed and working but when I publish from my machine
I get an error message that the site was unable to open and one possible
reason is that the server may not have Frontpage extensions installed.

My brother who operates the server can get into my site using Frontpage on
his machine without an issue, as can another person who also tried from their
machine via Frontpage. But I can only use FTP in Frontpage to update the
files and if I update all files at once some of the function is lost for
example the submit for forms. The submit works if set up via a working
Frontpage that is recognizing the extension but if I update all the files at
once, the form submit if used from the website will again show an error that
the form can't be submitted because the server may not have Frontpage
extensions. If my brother updates then all is well.

What is it about my set up that may be causing this? I have dial up service
through Earthlink, would there be any conflict there?

I sure would appreciate if anyone has a suggestion so that I can manage my
website from my machine. Thanks.

FTP breaks FPs extensions, repair the extensions then Publish via http://
method and don't use ftp on the web again.
Forms must be published via the http method or they break.

Unfortunately, I have never been able to publish via the http:// even after
the extensions were reinstalled, is there another problem that might need to
be looked at that you may know of?

Thanks.

What errors, if any, are you getting when you try to publish via http?

Post the URL to the website so we can see wazzup.
