Can't 'quick look' Powerpoint documents in Leopard

I cannot use the 'quick look' feature on any Powerpoint documents saved using Mac Office 2008.

I am saving the files using the .PPT format, but they are not generating any previews. I have tried installing Office 2008 on 2 Macs and they both exhibited the same lack of preview issue.

As an experiment, I opened a Office 2004 Powerpoint document that had a working 'quick look' in Office 2008, saved it without making any changes, and the 'quick look' feature no longer worked.

Just to be clear, the 'quick look' feature is the feature where you select a file icon in the finder (or folder) and hit the space bar to preview the file without opening it.

Anybody have any ideas?

Yeah. Quick Look is currently a little broken.

We're waiting for an Apple or Microsoft update on that one.

It is failing to recognise the Office 2008 creator codes, I believe. Which
means there's not "much" wrong, and they should fix it "soon" :)

Cheers
