Can't read undeleted word document

I have deleted a MS Wodr document on a floppy, then with an unerase
utility recovered it but I can open the file anymoore.

Is there a hope to have my precious text back?

Use windows explorer to copy the file to your hard disk. Then double
click on it from the hard disk.

In general, you should never let word open a .doc from a floppy.

Try going to "Open" and then in the dialog window under "Files of type"
select "Recover text from any file."
