can't receive in Outlook; message go into Express

I recently upgraded a client from OE6 to Outlook 2002.
Have the same problem as a previous post, where incoming
messages go into OE6 only. They bypass Outlook. All
settings are perfect, so I suspect there us a key in the
registry that is set wrong. Any ideas? I have done this
upgrade on a dozen computers and never had this problem.
She is running win 98.
