can't remove graphic from envelop!

Some time ago I added a graphic logo (gif file) to the
upper left corner of envelopes. For doing a normal return
address, I do not need this logo, but cannot get rid of it
except by disabling object printing in options menu. I'd
like to be able to delete it, and have tried bringing it
up and using the delete key and also the cut command on
the edit menu. These actions make the graphic disappear
on-screen, but whenever I go to print an envelope, the
graphic is back!
Help please...
