J
just say NO to PDF
This is still a problem, even in Outlook 2007:
View/Current View/Customize Current View
or
View/Current View/Define Views, <Current view settings>, Modify
or
View/Current View/Define Views, Messages, Modify
or
View/Current View/Define Views, Copy of Messages, Modify
then
Fields, Header Status, Remove
or
Right-click the icon in inbox and select "Remove Thic Column"
No matter what you do, when you restart Outlook the column is added back to
the view. Why would I need this column; I am connected to an Exchange server
and not downloading from a 28.8 modem? Someone at Microsoft obviously
decided that we all "must" have this column?

I remove this field. But when I reopen Inbox, it's there again. Is there a
way to remove it permanently?
