Hi, I am using FrontPage 2000.
Over the years, several of my websites have
been moved from one server to another. When
I click publish and the Publish Web box opens,
the drop-down menu for web site address contains
a large list of old, useless web sites.
I would like to purge those old useless addresses.
Clicking on them and deleting does not work
as it does on IE6 auto form. How do I remove them?
Elsewhere I received useful advice (outlined below)
from Stefan Rusynko, but this did not remove the
list held by the "Publish Web box drop-down menu"
Here's what I have done to try to remedy this:
* Found and deleted all *.web files
* Edited the registry editor (backed-up first)
by finding and deleting any references to
old webs mentioned in:
1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\
Recent File List
2. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\
Recent Publish List
3. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\
Recent Web List
4. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
FrontPage\Explorer\FrontPage Explorer\
Recently Created Servers
5. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
FrontPage\Webs\Opened
Yet, still no solution to original problem. Any ideas?
Thanks, Jeff
