Can't Remove Watermark

Hi,
I have a watermark in a document that I can't remove. I have tried selecting
the whole document and select Format/Background/Printed Watermark/No
watermark. I have also looked in all the headers and footers for the
watermark and it does not appear to be there.

Please help!

Can you see the watermark in Print Preview or Print Layout View? If so, then
it is definitely in the document, and if it appears on every page, it is
almost certainly anchored to the header (or, less probably, the footer). If
the watermark appears only on the printout, check your printer driver
(Properties) for any watermark setting.

Very rarely I have seen documents where an object was either hidden in XML
or inserted in some other bizarre way that appeared only at print time, but
this could not be seen in Print Preview or Print Layout view.
