Cant Reply, Forward, or create New Message in Outlook!

This is for a friend of mine. He's running OfficeXP (2002) and the OS is
WindowsXP Home Edition.

Anytime he tries to created a New message, Forwards or does a Reply, he gets
a message that says "Outlook cannot created the message due to lack of disk
space or memory in the computer". Then he clicks OK; and the box goes away
(leaving him with no way to complete the process).

I'm having him go thru the Office Update Process to ensure everything is up
to date.
He has plenty of disk space and plenty of memory.
What does this mean?

Thanks in advance!

Hello customer,

From the post log, I understand that your friend receives the following
error message when he tries to create, reply or forward a message in
Outlook 2002:
"Outlook cannot created the message due to lack of disk space or memory in
the computer".
If this is not correct, please let me know.

Based on my experience and research, this issue could be caused by
different reasons. To narrow this issue down, I recommend you try the
following steps.

Steps 1
=======

1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start, point to and click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.

3. Click Change/Remove Programs on the left pane.

4. Highlight Microsoft Office XP item on the right pane and click Change.

5. Insert the correct version of CD when it requires.

6. Select "Reinstall and Repair" and click Next.

7. Select "Detect and Repair errors in my Office installation".

8. Click Install and wait the process to end.

9. Then check if this issue recurs.

Step 2
=======

1. Create a temp folder named c:\temp.

2. Under registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security\OutlookSec
ureTempFolder.

3. Add the value c:\temp to the OutlookSecureTempFolder.

4. Exit the registry editor and try to reproduce this issue again.

If the suggestions don't help, please help us collect the following
information for further research.

1. Please take a screenshot of the error message and send it to :<
(e-mail address removed) >.
2. Has the problem ever worked? If so, what has changed?
3. Does this issue occur in every use account on the computer? Please
create a new user account and then check if this issue recurs in the newly
created user profile.
4. Do you use Word as the e-mail editor in Outlook? If so, can this issue
be reproduced when you don't use Word as the e-mail editor?

Please take your time to try the suggestions and tell me the results at
your earliest convenience. I am here waiting for your reply.

Regards,

Ada Pan
