Can't resize Word Window

Don't know what I did. Starting today, I can't resize a window with Word
on it. I can in other parts of Office 2000 like excel or access or any
other application. When I click the reduce window size button in the
upper right corner, the window minimizes. I have to right click on the
button in the task bar and then click Maximize to bring the window up.
It is either full size or nothing. How can I restore the ability to
resize the window?

This is probably because your Word window is reducing to a position off the
screen. Try the Alt+Space technique to see if you can move it into view.
You do this as follows:

Hold Alt and hit Space.
Hit the 'm' key.
Use hold the left cursor to see if the window comes into view.
If it does, hit Enter and then reposition with the mouse.
If it does not, hit Esc and try again with a different cursor key.
This may take a few tries.
