Can't resolve document margins

Greetings.
I'm having difficulty printing a Word document. I have margins set, as
always at 1" on both sides; however, the print dialogue tells me that
some margins are outside the printable area of the page, and, suggest
a re-set of 1.42 and 1.19". The left side of the document is off the
printed page, and I don't know how to correct the problem, which does
not appear in other programs.

That indicates to me that you have the wrong printer selected, or the wrong
unit of measurement for your margins.

Make sure you are actually looking at "Inches" and not "Centimetres" in the
dialog.

Make sure you have chosen the printer that is actually going to print the
job, and that it is plugged in and switched on. Word gets the maximum print
area (minimum margins) from the printer.

Make sure there is only one section break in the document: look at the
extreme bottom of the screen to ensure that you are in Section 1, then use
Command + g to try to "go to" section 2.

Section 2 may be too small to be seen easily (one line) but if its margins
are wrong, you will get this error.
