Can't run Java applet in Preview

Can anyone please tell me why I am unable to run Java applets in Preview
mode? They
run fine in Browser mode and after they are uploaded to the server.

I am using FP 2002 SP-2.

Here is an example page http://www.supersingles.us/photoalbum.htm

Java applet is at top with message to click on pictures.

Couldn't tell you. It could be the location of the applet.
I couldn't view it because I haven't installed Java yet for
Firefox.

FYI-Out of box computers will not be able to view it either,
as Window no longer ships with the JVM needed to view it.
It would need to be downloaded form Sun

By design, the preview mode is *not* a true browser, and will not run Java
Applets. They must be viewed in a browser mode.

The only thing I can see that *might* be causing it, is that there is a
codebase or location specified for the applet that *appears* to be incorrect
to me.
If in fact announceit.class is in the same location as the photoalbum.htm
file, try removing CODEBASE="./" and see if it makes any difference.

Removing CODEBASE="./" did the trick.

Thanks
