can't save an outlook template *.oft in 2003 using Word.

When trying to setup auto reply using "Rules & alerts" to calls for an
outlook template to use as the reply message, but I can not save a file with
the office extension *.oft using Word as my email editor? do i need to change
the editor to save the office template? or am I missing something

Turn off WordMail as your email editor temporarily -- Tools | Options | Mail

You can open an outlook form using Actions, New menu using - choose the one
that says 'Microsoft Office Outlook' - if you use HTML format as your
default, it will also have (HTML), plain text default will have (plain text)
appended.
