cant save because opened with read-only file in word?

every time i close word the message "cant save in global network because
opened as read-only " comes up ....... how do i get rid of that

check the properties of the sub directory where this fiel is stored. Make
sure that the folder is not marked 'read only' ( Including a green box in the
checkmark box) clear it, close the file and exit excel and reopen the file.
