Can't save documents

Hello,

I can't "save" or "save as" a document in word 2000.

It was working fine for all these years, and now I can't
even get the "save as" box to appear.

Let me know if anyone can help.

Does the title bar flash when you choose File | Save As? If so, this is
probably caused by a conflict with the Norton Office Plug-in; see "Title
Bars Flash, Word Becomes Unresponsive, or Word Cannot Close" at

I have the same problem in 2002. It appeared out of
nowhere...no warning..no other problems...only effects
Word (not Excel, PP...) I don't have a SAVE AS button...I
have 2 SAVE buttons!
