Can't save in Excel

We have a macro that opens Excel and downloads data to a
worksheet. When trying to save the data it comes up with
this message:
"You cannot save to this file format when the VBA project
is protected. You may unprotect the VBA project by
choosing the Properties command on the Visual Basic
Editor's Tools menu and entering the password for the
above project."

This macro was written on a PC running Win 2K SP4 & Office
2K SP3.
The error appeared on a PC running Win XP SP1 & Office XP
SP2.

We don't want to unprotect the project because the macro
is used by our customers and they don't need to dink with
the code, if ya know what I mean!
