Can't save in Word2000

When I attempt to save a word document to floppy, the program hangs. It will
not save. I can save to a flash drive and the local hard drive with no
problem, but I cannot save to floppy. I have no trouble saving other files
to the floppy, such as downloaded files, etc. I am using Windows2000
Professional. Can someone please help me.

I can help you by telling you that you should *never* do that. Save it to
your hard disk then copy it over to your floppy disk. You're asking for
corrupt files if you don't.
