Whenever I try to save my PowerPoint file as a movie, the PPT application
crashes. EVERY TIME! It's a large presentation with a lot of animation and a
sound track, but that shouldn't be the sole cause of not being to save it as
mov, should it? I'm on a G4 with OS10.39 and the updated version of PPT,
too.

While I don't have any idea what elements are causing this, here is a
troubleshooting technique that helps isolate problems:

Break the presentation into two halves. Try to make a movie out of each
half. The half that doesn't work contains the problem. Take the "bad" half
and divide it again. This is the fastest way to isolate the problem. Keep
doing it until you isolate the offending slide. Once you find it, amend it
until it works.

NOTE: this assumes that you OS and version of Quicktime are in working
order. There is a possibility that your problem could lie with one of
these.

Good luck!
