Can't scan multiple pages after installing Office Professional 200

I need to be able to scan large quantities of documents into Word, something
I was able to do easily before my recent upgrade. I need to be able to do
this from Word, using the Insert Pictures from Scanner function. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled both Office Professional and my scanner software
with no success.

Would appreciate any advice!

You're missing a digit from your version of Office... is it 2000 or 2003?

When you try to scan, how far along do you get in the process, and what
errors or problems do you encounter?

I'm using 2003. I can scan only one page at a time from my ADF. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled the printer drivers, as well Office Professional
2003, to no avail. There are no error messages; the process simply stops
after one page. I've checked all of the printer settings and options that I
can think of but nothing works...

Hi Allison,

Some of the Automatic Document Feeders have been incompatible
with MS Office Document Scanning.

Did you create a new Scanning preset in Office 2003 Document
Scanning?

Have you checked the scanner manufacturer's website for an
updated driver?

Have you tried setting your scanner up to use TWAIN drivers?

Hi Bob - thanks for your response.
Re #1: I did create a new scanning preset but prefer not to use MS Document
Imaging because I need to be able to scan directly into Word. I find that
the TIFF files are too large. Ideally I prefer to scan everything into Word
and then save the whole document as a PDF.
Re #2: I checked their website and phoned them (it's a Canon) but no luck so
far.
Re #3: On the last go-around, the scanner was set to TWAIN but when I go
into Word I see that WIA shows up as the only option. Can't figure this one
out!

Thanks for you help...
