Can't see bcc: in the sent folder of my IMAP account in Outlook 2007(or in my personal sent folder)

I'm using Outlook 2007 with Gmail and on IMAP.

When I send an email with bcc IN gmail, I can see the recipients of
the bcc field IN Gmail (but not in Outlook) in my sent folder.

When I send an email with bcc in Outlook, I cannot see any recipient
in the bcc field and I am in the to: field of recipients when looking
at the message in the sent folder.

I tested out the Outlook bcc with a friend and he did receive the
email but I can't see him in the bcc field in either Gmail or
Outlook. But when I sent him one in Gmail, I could see him in the bcc
IN Gmail (again, but not Outlook).

**When looking for the bcc field, I do, in fact, open the message
rather than just looking in the reading pane.**

Finally, when I'm composing an email, I can see the from:, to:, cc:,
and the bcc: fields. Yet, when I open a message in my sent folder, I
only see the to: and cc: fields.

I haven't found an answer to this quandary after searching a bit
online and in the help feature and there doesn't seem to be a solution
in the options of the tools menu.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I got exactly the same behavior using Outlook 2003.
I think the bcc's showed up if I had the option (save copies of
messages in the sent items folder) checked in the Outlook email
options and then looked at the headers from that folder.

Reading pane won't work either. Has to be double clicked, opened to
see the bcc's

Thanks, JP, that seems to do the trick!

Now I just have to figure out how to have my replies/forwards
automatically removed from my inbox another way, I guess.

Thanks again.

Well, I haven't been able to figure out a rule for it.

Basically, I don't want to see a _separate_ message in my inbox for
the messages that I _send_ and still keep the bcc functionality.
Maybe I'll just have to bcc through Gmail directly.
